The Great White Hunters- Crestline- USA Pastors Chuck And Mary

This is our November Hunt in Colorado. The temperature was 25 below F. Isn't his face beautiful?

Things warmed up a bit for Chuck's hunt, it was about 23degrees F.
A very fun hunt. My wonderful guide, Chuck, called this big boy in and I layed the smack on him. He piled right up and Chuck had to drag him 250 yds. Chuck's elk was also called in by our real guide. He made a clean shot and we were able to get the quad up to him and drag him to a truck.

leaders re encounter

We were blown away with the turnout of leaders who registered for the re-encounter in Christchurch...hungry for God and passionate about the vision of reaching new people through cell.

Jonathan (left of photo) bought a powerful message on living our lives with integrity.

Kelly spoke on building a strong foundation by applying the basic disciplines...one being reading the word daily!   (Kelly second on left with some of his leaders)

You cant beat good food and fellowship with Gods beautiful Church.
Theres nothing like seeing young people passionately in love with Jesus!

Gold dust and oil

Hi Guys.
I hope your week is going well.
In one of our teenage girl cells last week the girls were praying for 2 none christian girls in the group.
As they prayed 1 none christian girl got gold dust over her hands while the other had oil dripping off her fingers. No one in the group had ever seen this before.
The impact of this mirical was such that both girls got saved and were at church on sunday.

Heres a photo of Jo and a good size trout she caught. It broke her line so she jumped in the lake and wrestled it to the shore. she was not going to let this fish escape ;-)

We had a great woman's Encounter last weekend! We stayed at Howie & Vicki's church and it worked really well. There was only a very small group but it was such a worthwhile time. My daughter in law, Dawn (sitting on the arm of the chair) was powerfully ministered to. She brought along a cousin who just gave her heart to the Lord recently at her babies tangi. It was so good to see her get some powerful healing and deliverance. I had two new leaders ministering so that was really exciting as well. We have just recently had 23 people graduate from School of Leaders 3, so it great seeing them leading cells, growing & ministering powerfully! God is so good!! thanks to all who prayed for our Encounter weekend - your prayers were answered!

GROUNDBREAKING KERIKERI CAMPUS

Exciting News from Mike and Allison in Kaikohe
The Kerikeri Christian Campus is pleased to announce the beginning of the construction of its new campus. A Ground Breaking Ceremony is planned to celebrate the start of the site works for the four new classrooms, infra-structure and community hall for related activities. Media representatives, representatives from other schools  as well as the general public, are invited to attend the ceremony that will be held on: Friday, September 24th, 2010 at 10:00am 1 Edkins Road. (intersection of Waipapa and Landing Roads). The ceremony will commence with a powhiri led by NgatiRehia. Given the historical connection between Maori and Christian education in Kerikeri, board chairman Mike Shaw says, “This is most appropriate and we are honoured to have NgatiRehia leading the proceedings.”  After the welcome, there will be some brief remarks from dignitaries and readings from the students. The ceremony will be closed by a prayer of blessing the soil and  a hymn, followed by the ground breaking. When the formalities are concluded there will be a barbeque and refreshments in the marquee. The first stage of the new campus is scheduled to be completed and ready for occupancy in February 2011. The campus is continuing to take enrolments at its current Hone Heke site and plans an open day in term four.

First Encounter Rarotonga - bits and pieces

The church in Raro is alive with the presence and power of God. I've come home really impacted.Jonathan and Natasha are doing a tremendous work. It nearly is all sunshine and palm trees and beautiful pacific breezes, but there is the usual warfare too so I know they would love our prayers. What was really cool too was Jo from Invercargill got to hang with us and be part of the womens encounter. Nancy has put up more info and photos on www.impacting-the-nations.com Tania. Nelson.
The biggest blessing for me in Raro was "working" with a team. We are so blessed to be part of a great church family. Beautiful.
Team at dinner, outside on beach!

This was the view from Murray and Nancy's house. We saw whales everyday
It was cool being at church the first time Nancy attended since her accident. Celebration on the Rock presented her with flowers and the headpiece. Forgot what that's called. You can feel the love for Murray and Nancy there.

The cafe is pumping! Even Resort owners drive to the other side of the island to eat and have coffee.

Celebration Centre Kumi, Uganda - Building progress.

As you can see we are well on the journey to getting the church up and built.  About another 1.5 m to go to finish the walls and then the roof doors and windows to fit, There is meant to be a progression in the pics but as this is my first posting who knows how it will turn out.  Really want to encourage Mike and Allison with their build project in the Far North ... keep prohecying to the nothin' til it becomes somethin'.

We are about two thirds on the way - started in Nov 09 and got to this point in May 2010. The engineers in the local council are watching closely as few buildings there actually get a proper foundation laid as we have here - the result after monsoon rains down the track is that those buildings end up slumping and breaking. We had our share of stress in 09 when it looked hopeless and the council was going to reposses and sell our land and we would lose all our purchase money (we were contracturally obligated to proceed building within 6 months of purchase) which we were not aware of. The deadline was on us and no dough in kitty -  some 'creative financial thinking' and some fast action from Ps Richard to raise some local money saw some government officials get some cash 'under the counter' and we got a five year build extension signed and sealed! Against our financial priciples you ask ... yep it sure was, but I reckon you've gotta do what youve gotta do to get the job done for the Kingdom.

Be encouraged He is everywhere and into everything  .... and He is with you as well!

Christchurch

It's been a battle to raise 2.6 million dollars in this financial climate but after nine months of labour looks like we have breakthrough!

One building sold and two major refinance packages approved with only one to go.

After the test comes the testimony, praise the Lord, Jehovah Jireh!!

THE PRESSURE TEST

The pressure God allows around our lives tests the quality of Gods character development in us.
The pressure cooker accelerates character growth

Embrace your battles and grow

New Temporary Home For North Bend Celebration Center

This is the new home for Celebration Center North Bend.  We're now located at the Pony Village Shopping Center and they've given, yes for FREE, 8000 sq ft of space which will seat 300 for as long as we need it.  This is a picture of the outside entrance, it also has a mall entrance of course.

A church in town loaned us 115 chairs, we brought in another 20 or so and the mall set up the stage and loaned us tables.  Another man loaned us a PA system and a beautiful set of drums were given to us.  A daycare in the Mall let us use their facility for our children's program, again for as long as we need it.  We had enough to set up for church on Sunday.   It was great!

Worship Team ready to go

We had a full house.  We'll be looking for more chairs this week and painting over the beautiful ship on the wall.  It was very exciting.  We're all looking forward to the bigger and better that God has in store for us.  This was a devastating thing to have happen, but it's time to look ahead.  We don't believe God burned down the church, not at all!  Satan did this and he's going to pay.  We're living in expectation and anticipation...what will God do next!
