Answer to Prayer

We are presently a small sized church and have been "stuck", but we have been taking to heart the Word that came through at conference re getting on the offensive and declaring the promised Word of God over our churches, situations, lives etc. A promise we were given when we were first sent out to plant a church was Isaiah 60. Monday night at our corporate prayer meeting we declared out this Word over our church. Part of that word talks how God's glory is risen upon us and His glory will be seen upon us and Gentiles shall come to our light. Also, that our sons will come from afar and so much more. The very next day we received a knock on our door at home and our neighbour out back, had come round and asked where our church was, and that she and her husband and daughter wanted to come this Sunday."The Gentiles shall come to your light" This was random and out of the blue! Today (Sunday) they did visit. We haven't had visitors for ages. But not only that another young man visited and a lady. We haven't really advertised where we are, yet this young man found us, his mother who goes to the Samoan church told him about our church. We don't even know her. This man has just come to Nelson from Auckland - "our sons shall come from afar"! We are very excited at the power of declaring the promises of God over the life of our church and know that as a body "we are the branch of His planting!" (Isaiah 60:21)!

  1. This inspires us to get into our corporate prayer. Kicking it off in July.
